How do I close my bench account?

If you wish to close your bench account, you’ll have a three day ‘cooling off’ period in which you can reactivate the account. After this time, it will not be possible to reactivate and should you wish to start using bench again, you will need to set up a new account. 

To close your account, please contact your bench Member Services team (who’ll be very sad to see you go, but very happy to help). Call us on +1- 884-404-0472 or pop an email to help@planetbench.com/card. We are available 24/7 to help. 

We’ll close your account immediately and arrange for any remaining funds to be sent back to your bank account within 7-10 business days. If you need the funds prior to this, we recommend that you withdraw them from an ATM with the bench card.
